Walk and Talk Counseling

Peaceful stress-relieving path in nature.

In every walk in nature, one receives far more than he seeks.

—john muir

For those of us who have personally experienced the healing power of nature, it comes as no surprise that research supports the many benefits of spending time outdoors. Individuals who make a habit of getting outside on a regular basis report

  • decreased anxiety and depression

  • overall increased sense of well-being

  • improved concentration and focus

  • increased creativity

  • improved problem-solving skills

For all of these reasons, combining a walk outside with therapy is a natural fit! Weather permitting, walk and talk therapy is provided at one of the several lovely parks located within a few mile radius of the office. Babies and well-behaved dogs are welcome! Feel free to contact me with any questions.
